A real, working business dashboard built on your data in two to four weeks. Sales, finance, ops, or a cross-cutting executive view. One to three sources connected, properly modelled, refreshed automatically, designed to be read at a glance by people who do not have time to drill.
The data exists. Sales is in HubSpot or Salesforce. Finance is in Xero or Sage or QuickBooks. Operations are in five spreadsheets and a project management tool. Each system has its own reporting; none of them combine. The senior leadership team sees three different versions of the truth, none of which agree. The finance director spends two days a month assembling the board pack from manual extracts.
A focused Power BI build connects the most important sources, surfaces the metrics that actually matter, and produces a working dashboard fast. We do not try to do everything; we pick the dashboard that pays back inside the first quarter and we build it well. Other dashboards come later, once the first one has earned its budget.
Four workstreams: the data, the dashboard, the operations around it, and the handover.

Mid-market firms whose senior leadership team is making decisions on incomplete information because the data lives in too many places. Particularly valuable when finance is producing manual board packs that consume days each month, sales leadership cannot see real-time pipeline, operations leadership cannot see real-time productivity, or an executive committee has asked for a single dashboard view of the business.
1
1–3 working days. We sit with the senior people who will use the dashboard, agree what they need to see, and agree the success criteria.
2
1–2 weeks. We connect the sources, build the data model, design and build the dashboard. We share work-in-progress every few days so there are no surprises.
3
3–5 working days. We sit with the users and refine the dashboard against actual use. We make the changes that always come up once people see real data on a real screen.
4
1 day. Training session for your two power users, documentation handover, 30-day support window opens.

How is this different from Excel?
Excel is fine for occasional analysis by one person. Power BI is the right answer once multiple people need to see the same data, when the data is refreshed regularly, and when the dashboard needs to be readable on a phone. The data model in Power BI scales properly; an Excel sheet does not.
Can you connect to our specific source system?
Probably yes. Power BI has direct connectors for hundreds of business applications including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Shopify, ServiceNow, Snowflake, SQL Server, and the major databases. For sources without a direct connector we use Power Automate or a custom API integration.
Who maintains the dashboard after you leave?
Your two nominated power users are trained to handle most adjustments (changing filters, adding a measure, adding a small data slice). For deeper changes (new data source, new page, model restructure) you can either pick the work up internally or keep us on a managed support arrangement.
What if our data is messy?
Common. The discovery surfaces it; we plan for it. Usually the cleanup needs to happen at source rather than in the Power BI model, because cleaning data inside the dashboard creates technical debt that breaks later. We tell you honestly which data sources are ready and which need work first.
Can the dashboard be embedded in Teams or our intranet?
Yes. Power BI dashboards can be embedded in Teams channels (so the right team sees their dashboard inside their workspace) and in SharePoint intranets. We set this up as part of the standard build.
